Public Transportation & Hazard Pay for Poll Workers
2 resolutions will be considered on July 28
At the council meeting on Tuesday, July 28 at 7:30 pm, the Fitchburg Common Council will consider
A resolution in support of public transportation and to rededicate the City of Fitchburg to our partnership with Madison Metro transit.
A resolution to provide hazard pay for poll workers for the August and November 2020 elections.
These resolutions were drafted by me and co-sponsored by Alder Maldonado. Please read and provide testimony if you have strong feelings about these.
Options for submitting feedback
Attend the 7/28 council meeting starting at 7:30 pm and give a 3 minute testimony telling the council where you stand on the issue. When you arrive, fill out a form at the back of the room stating that you’d like to make a statement
If you can’t attend in person, submit written testimony to the mayor, which he will read at the 7/28 meeting. Please specify which resolution you are referring to. Email him at aaron.richardson@fitchburgwi.gov
